4 Ladies

If you are a good judge of Champagne and feel passion to this amazing drink my 4 Ladies will be to your taste!
4 Ladies are the four elegant cocktails designed on the basis of Black Champagne.
I’d like to introduce my first Lady…
Vampyromorphida. The Lady from the Deep. She’s my favorite. Ingredients: *Black Champagne, *shot of Ocean juice, *1oz of electric light of a squid, *spot of a leopard’s skin for garnish.

My next Lady is Monkey CrazyPlastic. She’s eccentric, unpredictable and more sparkling than the other three Ladies, so pour the Champagne very slowly to avoid an overflow. Ingredients: *Black Champagne, *pinch of wild monkey’s hair, *dash of plastic, *1oz of banana syrup.

The next Lady’s recipe doesn’t need any wild animal to find an essential ingredient. She includes only… Ingredients: *Black Champagne and *1oz of maple syrup. And that’s it. Oh yes, when the cocktail is ready make sure that you drop a small The Black 8 Ball to the bottom. And you’ll get AR2R Bjork! (it took me long time to find out a suitable name for the Lady that could correspond to its contents till my friend At2r once said: “The taste reminds of… Bjork!”)
My last Lady is called Lady Wong Kar-Wai. If you watched a commercial "There's only One Sun" (full version) by Philips Aurea, then you’ll get what I mean. Ingredients: *Black Champagne, *shot of, *drop of mascara and *"There's only one sun, but it travels the world every day. This sun is all mine and I won't give it away!" poem by Marina Tsvetayeva.

This is it about my 4 Ladies. Just don't forget one important thing. When making any cocktail with Champagne be sure to add the Champagne to the flute last!

DOUBLE ESTHER

For the ingredients you’ll need some apple MARTINI and a huge number of small black spots! The mysterious effect of the cocktail can be reached in combination with its taste and the right way one should use it after the preparation (the ratio is 2/3 MARTINI, 1/3 black spots).
So, first of all, one should sip it slowly in order to maintain the harmony of colour and taste. Secondly, the contents of the shot glass must be in continuous motion so be sure to slightly swing it anti-clockwise while holding. This allows the black spots to dance very slowly in MARTINI creating some unbelievable gradients there. It would be better not to put the shot glass on the table at all). The cocktail’s a real trouble, isn’t it? A double trouble!
Double Esther.

Petersburg DÉJÀ VU

Do you remember a Screwdriver cocktail.. vodka + orange juice? A Petersburg DÉJÀ VU is actually the same. We just replace orange juice by made-of-diamonds juice and voilà – a new cocktail is done! Easy, hah?!

Cuban Trogon

It’s a tropical one. You’ll need Tequila, Cointreau and an amazing little bird called Cuban Trogon, or rather its blood). The blood of the bird has such an unusual and rich fruitful taste that you’ll easily forget all the rest of tropical cocktails.
Prepare a cocktail glass by rubbing the bird’s blood all the way around the edge of the glass. Then add Tequila, Cointreau and some blood of a Cuban Trogon into a cocktail shaker full of ice and shake well together. Strain into the cocktail glass. Ratio of ingredients: *2 shots - Cointreau, *1 shot - Tequila, *0.5 shot – blood of Cuban Trogon. Garnish: you can also add a sliced wheel of fresh lime if desired.

e x p e c t!

The reason I called this cocktail expect! or expect the effect! is because you absolutely cannot feel the taste while drinking it, and the intoxication experience might take an hour or more to become apparent. But! After a time you’ll reach both at the same time! Ingredients: *1 3/4 oz - vodka, *3/4 oz – Japanese ink. Preparation: build the ingredients in an old-fashioned glass filled with ice & stir well.

A Star For A Heart

The unusual aspect of this cocktail lies in its usage – it must fulfill not your stomach but your heart. You’ll need some stardust, so if you don’t have any vacant spaceman, go to the following recipe): you’ll need a huge syringe to deliver the cocktail to the destination point). Ingredients: *1drop - Angostura Bitters, *1 shot - De Kuyper Triple Sec, *1 shot - De Kuyper Apricot Brandy, *1 shot - Cream & *1 dash - stardust.
Blend all the ingredients – except stardust – with ice until they’re smooth and then add a drop of stardust. Fill the syringe with the contents and… don’t overshoot) Boooom! And a star is shining in your heart! Wonderful!

GOOD BYE LOVERS

She loves Her

She loves Him

She wants to give her heart to Her

But He has stolen Her heart… He loves Her

..and I don’t really care! I mixed all their feelings with Tequila and orange liqueur to get an awesome Margarita. Good bye lovers).
Served: on the rocks or neat. Rim: salt or sugar optional.

Abyss

Everyone is attracted by his own abyss. That’s true. But not in this case. My four Abysses can fascinate you so much that you may forget your own forever).
The Abyss is a series of four shooters: Abyss-12, Abyss -13, Abyss -17 & Abyss Black. Please, get acquainted!

Abyss-12 Ingredients: *0.75 shot - Russian Standard Vodka, *1 shot of my abyss (depth 12), *0.5 shot - Kahlua.
Abyss-13
Ingredients: *0.5 shot - Russian Standard Vodka, *0.5 shot of my abyss (depth 13), *0.5 shot - Amarula Cream.
Abyss-17
Ingredients: *0.5 shot - Grand Marnier, *0.5 shot of my abyss (depth 17), *0.5 shot - Amarula Cream.
Abyss Black
Ingredients: *0.5 shot - Disaronno Amaretto, *0.5 shot of someone’s (don’t tell you whose) black abyss, which is even darker and deeper than my own, *0.5 shot - De Kuyper Crème De Cacao – Brown

Help yourself, please! But don’t ask me how I fill the shots with drops of my abyss and how I get them from different levels of the depth*. And one more thing… Drinking too many of the shooters can cause you to become drunk very fast!

CERTUS

Certus is a Latin word that means faithful, reliable, devoted and etc. But I have this name for my milkshake for kids. It’s made from ice-cream and prunes… and also loads and loads of thick, thin and whatever stripes. Just for fun)
Roll up, roll up, kids! You can’t find a more reliable friend than this tasty milkshake… Or maybe you can if you share it with someone else). And how else did you think you meet friends?

FISH

Just because I’ve been sick and fucked down with the question ‘How does a lunar fish look like?’, I reply here.
Firstly, it’s not even a fish because they simply don’t live on the Moon! For sure! The Lunar Fish is a magical creature that inhabits the Moon and eats ice. It’s called FISH just because it can produce similar sounds: “...fff-ish, fff-ish”. Secondly, I haven’t heard that anybody else eats ice on the Moon. So I’ve no idea what did you catch there and put into your cocktails really. The Lunar Fish looks exactly the same as on the picture enclosed. Why it doesn’t eat ice there on the picture? Please, don’t ask me it.
p.s. For those who read my posts selectively, I meant here the ingredient from the previous post “Istrek”, not the cocktail itself.

istrek

This cocktail is a real plagiarism. The difference between a Mojito and my cocktail is that when the former is ready I let a Lunnar Fish into it for he grabs all the ice out there. Some guys just simply like the way how this magical creature swallows up ice cubes, so they prefer an Istrek instead of a Mojito. I don’t remember now how I came up with the name Istrek. You know, I think I don’t really much like it now.

l o o k

It’s not about a cocktail at all, but on-topic anyway) Look is a magazine and I had a hand in its design. See these pictures? You can use them for designing of your own glasses for Martini!

GAGARIN

Gagarin is a series of two cocktails: Gagarin & 108 minutes. It’s dedicated to Yuri Gagarin who was the first human in outer space.
Combine fine Champagne and great rocket fuel with strawberries and you have a fantastic drink called Gagarin.
Ingredients: *1oz - simple syrup, *2oz - rocket fuel, *Champagne, * 3 strawberries, *superfine sugar for rimming.
Preparation: Muddle three strawberries and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add some rocket fuel. Shake well. Strain into a sugar-rimmed martini glass. Top with Champagne.

The 108 minutes is an amped up version of a Gagarin. The difference between the two is that this one includes vodka (*1oz), but both are great). Why the 108? His time in space was exactly 108 minutes.

Doll

The Doll is quite a simple drink made of ink and coffee liqueur. Experiment with the common coffee liqueurs like Kahlua to create different tastes.
Ingredients: *1 3/4 oz - ink, *3/4 oz - coffee liqueur. Preparation: Build the ingredients in an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Stir well.

THE CROW

The inspiration for the cocktail was the film of the same name. Just because I like it a lot). Whiskey fans can enjoy their favorite spirit in style with this simple blended whiskey cocktail served in a cocktail glass with a pinch of dark blue coal.
Ingredients: *a pinch of dark blue coal, *2 oz - blended whiskey, *1/2 oz - superfine sugar.

Preparation: Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the blackest feather from the tail of a full-grown crow.

Ornamentum

Ornamentum is a Latin word for “adornment”. The Ornamentum is a true adornment of my cocktails’ collection. Its delicate flavor is simple and complicated at the same time. Although the ingredients and ratio are always the same, the taste of the Ornamentum can change depending on the ambience, mood, weather, music and feelings.
Ingredients: *2 1/2 oz gin, *1/2 oz - dry vermouth, *hair curls of mermaids from the Mediterranean Sea, for real magic.
Preparation: Pour the gin and dry vermouth into a mixing glass. Slowly add the curls. Stir. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
This cocktail can be easily ruined if too many curls are used, so go easy on it and you will have one of the best cocktails ever.

Street Life Ingredients

Street LIfe

This cocktail would be preferred by street dancers, musicians and graffiti artists rather than clubbers). And that’s exactly how it should be, because I meant it so. The Street Life is more like improvisation rather than a complete creation. So these are the necessary ingredients (you may find them in my next post) – mix and find a true taste of the Street Life.

POE

The main and only ingredient of this cocktail is letter-berries. All you need is to take a glass and put your favorite work of Edgar Allan Poe next to it, and…
start to pour some letter-berries into the glass. Make sure you make up words and sentences exactly in the same order they are in the Poe’s work. This is how you’ll get your own Poe in a glass. Wait a couple minutes until your berries extract the juice and enjoy.

CASINO ROYAL

If you like stripes - this Martini is for you. The Casino Royal, or the Striped martini, is a cocktail-variation of the original Martini. The ingredients and preparation are the same. All you need is to add some Tiger stripes for a more striped flavor.

INVISIBLE LETTERS

The Invisible letters is the series of three shooters: Open Your Eyes, THE INVISIBLE LETTERS & FLY. If you find a secret flavor you’ll be able to see and notice the things you’ve never seen and noticed before.
The basic element of each of the shooters is a hidden text. When each cocktail is ready it must be stirred well to get the flow of letters and tequila in your shot glass. If you pick one of these shooters be ready to struggle a little bit until you read the cocktail up to the end. Only the secret flavor can make you enjoy the taste.
Ingredients: *text, *tequila (and a *fly for the FLY)
